A Penny Saved...

To put it simply, our family has had to tighten the budget belt a little, well a lot, as we plan for a remodel of our home. I wasn't thrilled thinking I may have to give up some of my favorite preppy pastimes in order to get my hardwood floors. Was it not possible to still enjoy some preppy fun while pinching pennies? Couldn't I still wear my Lilly while clipping coupons? Was it hypocritcal to live a thrifty life while shopping at J. Crew? Is "frugal prep" an oxymoron?
